About the event

After taking this class, you will walk away knowing what to expect and how to optimize your health and recovery after birth that most families completely miss. We currently are in a difficult time in history where pregnancy challenges are not just due to lack of knowledge but are instead from an absence of cultural and medical presence and value.

Our culture has lost traditions for the mother to be at the center of the community receiving support. Medical care loses all focus on mothers after giving birth, leaving families with an average of 1 postpartum visit. Consequently, during this extremely vulnerable time mothers are left alone which is the last place a mother and family thrives. In past generations and in current international traditions, mothers have more support than they do here in the United States today.

The most common mistake families make is focusing on the birth preparation and not preparing for the 4th trimester (the first couple of months after birth). Instead of truly preparing to make the recovery easier families focus on buying things for the baby (that they probably won’t use). Instead, save your money, and invest your time into actually making your life easier as a parent. The 4th trimester is an extremely vulnerable and transformative time. Yet, without the right preparation and tools, you can face one of the most challenging times of your life, left feeling alone, overwhelmed, physically weak, emotionally unstable, and your hands full with a crying baby.

Take back this incredibly empowering and transformative time as you become a mother and grow your family. And walk away knowing what to focus on, how others, including your partner, can help you be able to be the best mother you can heal with grace and come out through the 4th trimester nourished, recovered, and deeply bonded with your baby and family.

You will learn:

~ What to expect during the postpartum window.

~ How to nurture your body and heal after birth.

~ How to care and understand your baby's needs.

~ How to chestfeed/breastfeed.

~ What foods promote milk supply.

~ How to heal your pelvis and pelvic floor after birth.

~ How others can support you after birth.

~ How to balance your hormones.

This class is led by Amber Pearson, a passionate midwife, and coach for over a decade. Amber has led and supported thousands of families during pregnancy, birth, and through the transformative journey as a mother. With the right support, tools, and knowledge, this time can be a profound opportunity to create health, wisdom, and bonding for your family and future generations.
